Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and work in a physically demanding environment
• The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail and stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be dependable, should have excellent oral communication, should be flexible
• The candidate should be reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products and sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials
• The candidates should be able to grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools and clean machines and immediate work areas
• The candidates should be able to load and unload vehicles
