Capital Truck Body and Equipment was founded in 1999 by Owner John Masih. We have enjoyed unmounted success and growth for the last 11+ years. In recent years, we have grown into one of the leading Gravel Truck and Gravel Trailer Manufacturers in Alberta. We provide the manufacturing and repairing of welding decks, flat decks, tool boxes, headache racks, service bodies, and we also now perform certified inspections of your trucks and trailers. Salary: $24.00 hourly for 35 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend and Overtime
Work site environment: Candidates should work in noisy area
Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to perform repetitive tasks, manually dexter, pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods, work in fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads and also for large workload
- The candidate should be physically strong
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces of metal products, immerse metal products in cleaning solutions, sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal and other materials, grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools and also polish metal products to mirror finish
- The candidate should be able to assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators or other metal workers and also read and interpret work orders
- The candidate should be able to clean machines and immediate work areas
- The candidate should be able to transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
