Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Communications system and Lighting system
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of managing physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be highly organized
- The candidates should be effective team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to install underground wiring and cables, splice, join, and connect wires, and test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and the integrity of circuits
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and isolate faults, connect power to audio and visual equipment, and instruct apprentices
- The candidates should be able to keep maintenance reports and documentation, install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems, and supervise other workers
- The candidates should be able to estimate costs and materials, as well as read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
