Salary: $29.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional, residential

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform physically demanding tasks and work under tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to demonstrate manual dexterity, perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to work overtime when required, handle weight and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should show flexibility, demonstrate reliability, and work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials and erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• The candidates should be able to mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt and help medical examiner in charge
• The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, and leveling earth to fine grade specifications
• The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt and clean and pile salvaged materials
• The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites and tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• The candidates should be able to direct traffic at or near construction sites
