Work site environment: Candidates should work in fruit and vegetable combination farming
Security and safety: Criminal record should checked
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Type of crops: Apples, Cherries and Grapes
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work overtime, in fast-paced environment, work under pressure, maintain tight deadlines, perform repetitive tasks, handle heavy loads, pay attention to detail, able to distinguish between colours, sit, stand for extended periods, walk and also for bending, crouching, kneeling
- The candidate should be physically strong, a combination of sitting, standing, walking and also have hand-eye co-ordination
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able for deleafing, fruit trees training, shoot positioning, suckering, tying and also weeding
- The candidate should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, fertilize and spray crops and also harvest crops
- The candidate should be able to maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes and also operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
