Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, certificate, or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, Confined spaces, Wet/damp, Odours, Hot, Cold/refrigerated, Non-smoking
Work Setting: Rural area
Type of Product: Seasonal plants, Garden tractors, Bedding plants
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Forklift
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Physical Requirements:

Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to do clipping
- The candidate should be able to do greenhouse cleaning
- The candidate should be able to hand harvest vegetables
- The candidate should be able to do weeding
- The candidate should be able to transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings
- The candidate should be able to report signs of insect or disease damage
- The candidate should be able to pot and re-pot plants
- The candidate should be able to plant bulbs and seeds
- The candidate should be able to mix and prepare soils
- The candidate should be able to assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants
- The candidate should be able to apply fertilizers
- The candidate should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidate should be able to clean the work area
