Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for moderate physical work in a variety of weather conditions and should be aware that the job primarily entails working in an outdoor environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a valid Driver’s license
- The candidates should possess Emergency First Aid / CPR “B” certification
- The candidates should be quick thinkers able to interact with the public in a courteous and professional manner
- The candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills required to coordinate power carts, driving range, and bag drop services and make decisions on sensitive issues while enforcing golf course rules and regulations
- The candidates should be ready for a Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check (Level 2) or Vulnerable Sector Check (Level 3) at their own expense to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to stage, clean, and store power carts at the end of the day
- The candidates should be able to maintain golf course pace of play and address on-course customer concerns
- The candidates should be able to assist with the daily setup and operation of golf tournaments and events
- The candidates should be able to assist with maintaining facility cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to pick the driving range daily and allocate balls to the public and instructional ends of the range (Braeben only)
- The candidates should be able to provide shuttle service to and from the range as required
