Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Security and safety: Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be non-smokers and capable of handling repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should show initiative and exercise good judgment
• The candidates should demonstrate reliability and display patience while upholding honesty

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• The candidates should be able to prepare infants and children for rest periods, supervise and care for children, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
