Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Diploma in Business Administration and Office Administration
Experience: Candidates should have experience working in a financial environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to effectively exchange information, think critically and manage time and tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience with office administration practices and information management practices
  • The candidates should have knowledge of office administrative practices and purchasing procedures
  • The candidates should have knowledge of budget management practices and information management practices
  • The candidates should demonstrate professionalism and skills in relationship building
  • The candidates should provide proof of a valid Class 05 Driver’s License

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate operations and services related to the Provincial Forest Fire Communications Centre
  • The candidates should be able to manage information within the division, including reviewing completed files and maintaining control of files and archives
  • The candidates should be able to ensure adherence to all activities and procedures related to information management within the division
  • The candidates should be able to liaise with departmental and divisional employees and provide leadership to those in the Communications Centre
  • The candidates should be able to support the administrative functions of the office by keeping records of attendance
  • The candidates should be able to maintain computerized control systems and provide program-specific advice on policies and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to perform year-end reconciliation functions for the department or division
  • The candidates should be able to perform other related tasks
