Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Grade 12
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to work outside regular working hours

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess or be willing to obtain a Pesticide Application Certification License within the first month of employment
  • The candidates should have knowledge of OH and S Regulations and Residential Tenancies Act and demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • The candidates should possess a valid Driver’s License and current criminal background check
  • The candidates should have proficient English skills, including reading, writing, and communication skills
  • The candidates should be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with all parties involved in pest control operations

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to take a lead role in the extermination process, including inspections, controlling, and repelling pests
  • The candidates should be able to apply treatments using various methods such as chemical application, powder application, steam vacuuming, heat treatments, trap setting, and operate and maintain equipment accordingly
  • The candidates should be able to effectively assess infestation areas and develop a comprehensive plan of action and work to exceed tenant expectations in pest control service
  • The candidates should be able to stay updated on effective industry products and procedures through research and successful application and conduct follow-up inspections and administer additional treatments
  • The candidates should be able to take initiative to recommend changes based on research, best practices, innovation, and product availability
  • The candidates should be able to work as a self-starter, capable of working with minimal supervision to ensure tasks are completed correctly the first time
  • The candidates should be able to perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on equipment used in pest control operations
  • The candidates should be able to maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in the company vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with the Office Coordinator to maintain a system for recording and tracking treatments effectively
