Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of minimum Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP) and Radio Operator’s Certificate (ROC-A) within 60 days of employment
- The candidates should be physically fit (able to bend, kneel, crawl, stoop, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess a valid Class 5 Driver’s License and hospitality industry knowledge
- The candidates should be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) and Food Safe Level 1 certification
- The candidates should be Canadian citizens, Permanent Residents, or able to show proof of the right to work in Canada
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to wash and sanitize all dishware and cooking equipment and wash, dry, and fold laundry
- The candidates should be able to operate an industrial dish machine and ensure proper wash procedures are followed
- The candidates should be able to work quickly to keep up with the pace of the kitchen and team
- The candidates should be able to maintain a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring dishware is stored in proper places
- The candidates should be able to sweep and mop floors when appropriate and remove garbage, recycling, and compost
- The candidates should be able to work with the team to package products for retail and flights
