Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, handle physically demanding tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should have hand-eye coordination, and be available for overtime
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments, and dusty environments
- The candidates should be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, and clean and lubricate cranes
- The candidates should be able to mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, and assist in demolishing buildings
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and help the medical examiner in charge
