Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and own vehicle
Work setting: Relocation costs not covered by employer, Commercial, Industrial
Welding techniques: Gas metal arc welding (GMAW), Flux core arc welding (FCAW), Stud, Multipass
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Custom fabrication, Structural construction, Factory assembly, Cast iron and other metals
Equipment and machinery experience: Soldering machine
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Welding helmet
Credentials: Occupational Health and Safety Certificate, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Forklift Operator Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in both a dusty and noisy environment
- The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks, perform physically demanding tasks, and be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should have manual dexterity, attention to detail, and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of weight handling and able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication skills, and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should be organized and a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to interpret welding process specifications and read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
- The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, and operate hoisting and lifting equipment
