Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of three year diploma in post-secondary education in Multimedia, Television Broadcasting, Photography and Film
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of three years of practical experience working in the field of Photography, Television, Film, and Multimedia as a studio or grip technician or as a photographer
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently with excellent interpersonal skills and work independently as well as with team members
- The candidates should be organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and professional and ability to respect confidentiality
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
- The candidates should have at least one of the three years include purchasing and inventorying supplies and equipment along with maintenance and repair of such equipment
- The candidates should have a working knowledge of computers and effective communication skills (oral and written)
- The candidates should have proven experience in a client-focused working environment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide support and technical assistance to Faculty, students, and other staff in the delivery of skills-based learning under the direction of the Business Administrator in the Faculty of Arts Media and Design
- The candidates should be able to manage all aspects of the supply and equipment for the Faculty, students, and other staff, including maintenance support and maintenance scheduling
- The candidates should be able to set up and tear down studio sessions, providing orientation in the usage of equipment
- The candidates should be able to ensure the proper functioning and availability of equipment for educational purposes and maintain equipment inventory
