Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning, 07:00 to 18:00
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and own transportation
Type of crops: Cabbage, onions, zucchinis, and vegetables

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in other vegetables and melon farming (except potato), outdoors, and in all weather conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp conditions, dusty conditions, hot environments, noisy environments, cold/refrigerated conditions, and dirty conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, handle physically demanding work, and manage heavy loads
• The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors, pay attention to detail, and be capable of weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, be comfortable bending, crouching, kneeling, and sitting, and handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to walk and work in a setting that requires prolonged periods of standing and moving

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be a team player and a quick learner

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean and cut agricultural crops, hand harvest vegetables, and divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots
• The candidates should be able to grade vegetables and fruits into different grades based on size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, and pack fruits and vegetables
• The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants, weed, and harvest crops.
• The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry
