Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in an industrial environment

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have an aptitude for manual and physical work, available for variable hours and autonomous
• The candidates should be capable of teamwork, fast and effective and rigorous and methodical
• The candidates should be willing to work overtime as needed and have a preference for physical work
• The candidates should be manual, punctual, resourceful, motivated, capable of working alone and in a team, and eager to learn

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess a valid, unrestricted Class 5 driver’s license issued by the SAAQ
• The candidates should have the ability to drive a wheel loader and a forklift however, the employer will train candidates for these tasks
• The candidates should be experienced in driving construction vehicles and work in French, with spoken English
• The candidates should have knowledge and compliance with safety rules and tool handling and manual skills

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to gain experience in multiple fields through this versatile position
• The candidates should be able to support and assist operators and the plant manager with loading trucks and cleaning equipment
• The candidates should be able to handle concrete constituent materials, maintain various areas of the yard, and supply the plant
• The candidates should be able to take on various tasks related to loading, maintenance of the premises, and inventory, based on their own knowledge, motivation, and involvement
• The candidates should be able to progressively take on increasingly important responsibilities, potentially advancing to the role of Plant Operator in the medium term
