Salary: $18.00 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Surrey, BC
Shifts: Day, Shift, Overtime, Flexible Hours

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Medical exam and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should be flexible, demonstrate initiative, and have good judgment
• The candidates should be organized and reliable

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to change diapers, bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, and supervise and care for them
• The candidates should be able to follow parents’ lead with toilet training, discipline children according to requested methods, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping, clean duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and linens, and maintain a safe and healthy home environment
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, organize activities such as games and outings, and prepare infants and children for rest periods
• The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and appointments, help with homework, tend to their emotional well-being, and keep records of daily activities and health information
• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and travel with the family on trips to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
