Salary: $16.71 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Type of crops: Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Vegetables, and Greenhouse vegetables
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be providedÂ
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and handle up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, manage physically demanding tasks, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should have attention to detail, be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and be experienced in weight handling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, exhibit good judgment, and be organized
- The candidates should be reliable, team players, and uphold values and ethics
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, perform greenhouse cleaning, and clean the work area
- The candidates should grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to fetch a high price in the market, and hand harvest vegetables
- The candidates should level earth to fine grade specifications, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and fertilize and spray crops
- The candidates should remove manually all suckers and water sprouts, tie and secure plants, and report signs of insect or disease damage
- The candidates should harvest crops and cut horticultural crops
