Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Certified Journeyman Electricians
Experience: Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have preference will be given to those who have proof of completing the Industrial Apprenticeship Program
- The candidates should have knowledge of conveyors, high-speed slicers, pumps, compressors, electrical, electronic controls, and high-speed packaging equipment
- The candidates should possess a strong working knowledge of HMIs, electric motor controls, programmable logic controllers, basic wiring circuits, and the skills necessary to safely test common electrical systems and make minor repairs where permitted and 442A licensing
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine the layout of industrial equipment and installations
- The candidates should be able to conduct planned preventive and predictive maintenance and keep maintenance records
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in the preventive maintenance program on building and processing equipment daily
- The candidates should be able to efficiently set up, inspect, and shut down production equipment, including process changeovers
- The candidates should be able to assist in planning and organizing work activities, including drawing interpretation and parts preparation
- The candidates should be able to program, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial equipment and automation, including PLCs, HMI, frequency drives, temperature control, and other related devices
