Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, and Grill 
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while performing physically demanding tasks and being comfortable with repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, waste disposal units, and kitchen surfaces, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs while also replenishing condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans, and keep records of the quantities of food used
• The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
• The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers’ orders, and stock refrigerators and salad bars
• The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, as well as handle and store cleaning products
• The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, while also removing kitchen garbage and trash
• The candidates should be able to sharpen kitchen knives and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
