Salary: $39.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edson, AB

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Accident or incident reports, bill of lading, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), and trip reports
Own tools/equipment: Tow truck and Cellular phone
Credentials: Air Brakes Endorsement and Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate good judgment and be reliable

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and maintain professionalism in customer service
  • The candidates should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries, and make reservations and drive lighter, special purpose trucks
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload goods and oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • The candidates should be able to pay and receive payments for goods and perform brake adjustments
  • The candidates should be able to perform emergency roadside repairs and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
