Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety:Â Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract), Medical exam, and Reference required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be strong client focus, demonstrate flexibility, stay organized, demonstrate reliability, and show honesty
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formulas
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to help children with homework
