Salary: $17.44 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 50 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 years to less than 5 years
Apiary and honey harvesting experience:Â Detect bee diseases, Harvest, extract and package honey and beeswax, Manage bee colonies for the production of honey and pollination purposes, Treat bees with antibiotics
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines, perform physically demanding tasks, and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, handle heavy loads, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate hand-eye co-ordination, sit for extended periods, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to walk for extended periods and bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player, have efficient interpersonal skills, and show flexibility
- The candidate should be reliable
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to diagnose livestock health issues, maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment, and work with honey bees
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
