Salary: $17.20 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck and Tractor
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, meet tight deadlines, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to distinguish between colours, pay attention to detail, and stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling, manage a large workload, and walk
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, reliable, and team players
- The candidates should have strong values and ethics and be quick learners
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate and irrigate crops, and train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
- The candidates should be able to perform weeding and harvest crops
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
