Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Retail store
Specialization or experience: Specialized environmental skills and knowledge
Security and safety: Basic Security Clearance and Criminal Record Check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and pay attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate, focused on clients, and excellent in oral communication
- The candidates should be flexible, organized, and reliable
- The candidates should be a team player, dependable, and sound in judgment
- The candidates should be able to multitask
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stages hands, design team, etc.) and assign sales workers to duties
- The candidates should be able to hire and train or arrange for training of staff and order merchandise
- The candidates should be able to authorize return of merchandise and establish work schedules
- The candidates should be able to sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
- The candidates should be able to resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages and organize and maintain inventory
- The candidates should be able to supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers and manage cash
- The candidates should be able to conduct performance reviews and supervise office and volunteer staff
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
