Salary: $17.40 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused and have efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be reliable, be able to work as a team player, and have the ability to multitask
  • The candidates should be dependable and have a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, and load buspans and trays
  • The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage area, replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
  • The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans, keep records of the quantities of food used, and package take-out food
  • The candidates should be able to portion and wrap foods, prepare, heat and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
  • The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, take customers’ orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs
  • The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, handle and store cleaning products, and receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas
  • The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sharpen kitchen knives, and sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
  • The candidates should be able to wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit
