Position: General construction labourer
No of Vacancies: 5
Salary: $24.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Port Coquitlam, BC
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to lift more than 45 kg (100 lbs)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials, instruct apprentices, and mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- The candidates should be able to assist in demolishing buildings, perform routine maintenance work, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
