Salary: $17.50 to $26.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Russell, ON & Embrun, ON
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Valid driver’s licence, and Public transportation is not available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Construction specialization: Residential
Own tools/equipment:Â Tools, Steel-toed safety boots, and Hard hat
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure while meeting tight deadlines and ensuring attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks with manual dexterity and proper hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads of up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and efficiently manage construction-related duties
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, flexible, and reliable
- The candidate should be a team player and hardworking
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials and read blueprints to determine work requirements
- The candidates should be able to assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
