Panorama Mountain Resort is a year-round destination in British Columbia, known for its alpine skiing and outdoor adventure offerings. It provides over 2,900 acres of skiable terrain, heli-skiing, mountain biking, golf, and lodging options. The resort caters to both thrill-seekers and families, delivering full-service mountain experiences. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in ski or bike patrol

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work well in a team environment and be well spoken and able to interact with guests effectively

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a minimum level 3 OFA certification, demonstrate excellent risk management skills
  • The candidates should have a valid driver’s license and lift evacuation experience

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide front-line interaction with summer guests, administer first aid on the mountain
  • The candidates should be able to maintain accurate recording of all accident information, maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • The candidates should be able to mark, sign, open, and close all bike trails as required to ensure safe trail conditions, build, maintain, and repair trails
  • The candidates should be able to provide first aid for on-mountain bike events, increase mountain bike safety awareness by patrolling the bike park daily
  • The candidates should be able to work closely with the trail crew and communicate any unsafe trail conditions
  • The candidates should be able to assist other departments, perform lift evacuation and perform other duties
