Salary: $17.50 hourly for 35 to 65 hours per week Minimum wage is guaranteed
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Petrolia, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Type of crops: Cucumbers and Vegetables
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work at heights and work in hot conditions
- The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean the crops, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and clean greenhouses
- The candidates should be able to hand harvest vegetables, level earth to fine grade specifications, and weed
- The candidates should be able to clean work area, transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings, and cut horticultural crops
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
