Salary: $21.50 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Overtime, On Call, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation
Work setting: Slaughter houses, Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment, Poultry processing plant, and Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Own tools/equipment: Mask and Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a noisy environment, be able to work in environments with odours and be able to work in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in hot environments, be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments and be able to perform repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, be physically demanding in their work and have manual dexterity
- The candidates should have attention to detail, have good hand-eye co-ordination and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate
- The candidates should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to slaughter livestock and remove viscera and other inedible parts from carcasses
