Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should demonstrate planning, judgment, and decision-making skills, balance teamwork and efficiency in processing customer orders
- The candidate should demonstrate strong organizational skills and neatness, be well organized with the ability to maintain accurate records, be detail oriented
Other Requirements:
The candidate should demonstrate efficiency in processing customer orders, strong computer and register skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to provide excellent customer service and positively engage with all customers
- The candidate should be able to maintain a neat and organized checkout area, greet all customers with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- The candidate should be able to accurately scan or enter product data at checkout accurately handle cash, coupons, lottery transactions, and PC Optimum points.
- The candidate should be able to ask for and process the customer’s PC Optimum Card during each transaction
- The candidate should be able to ensure proper documentation is completed for receipts and the return of goods
- The candidate should be able to merchandise and maintain designated areas, including facing, signing, and labeling tasks
