Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed Grade 12
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year’s experience and training in an office environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have supplemented by courses in word processing, office practices, and PC office applications, a current and accurate typing speed of 40 words per minute
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to answer the Engineering Operations information phone lines
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills, and understand and carry out oral and written instructions
- The candidate should be able to apply basic knowledge of filing, indexing methods, record keeping, and computer office applications, and possess good keyboarding skills
- The candidate should be able to demonstrate good interpersonal, customer service, and public relations skills and perform clerical tasks according to department rules and procedures, perform related duties
