Shift: 35-40 hours per week
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a minimum Grade 12 diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial kitchen operations and baking
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be legally entitled to work in Canada
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract, leadership experience
- The candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust built with passengers, partners, and communities
- The candidate should show enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to prepare flights ahead of time, monitor passenger special requirements, and dispatch flights in a timely manner to ensure on-time performance (OTP)
- The candidate should be able to monitor catering emails and ensure all flight or aircraft changes are accurately updated and current
- The candidate should be able to manage daily HACCP entries, including tracking receiving, cooking, and cooling temperatures
- The candidate should be able to ensure daily meal production adheres to specified quantities and guidelines while minimizing food waste
- The candidate should be able to complete a daily tailgate, outlining prep positions and cleaning schedules for both morning and afternoon staff
- The candidate should be able to provide encouragement, support, and guidance to fellow staff members
- The candidate should be able to contribute to the development and execution of corporate event menus and internal staff events
