Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly for 16 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time leading to full time
Location: Ottawa, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Flexible Hours and Morning
Work setting: Various locations, retail/wholesale establishment/distribution centre and shopping centre or mall
Own tools/equipment: Candidates should have cellular phone and internet access
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate and Security Guard License
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail, stand for extended periods and also walk
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be someone who can judge and also reliable
- The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also excellent oral communication
- The candidate should have investigative expertise like theft investigations
- The candidate should have experience of retail loss prevention
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to produce reports
- The candidate should be able to patrol assigned areas and also prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments
