Salary: $15.50 to $19.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Wingham, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Morning
Work setting: Rural area
Type of crops: Soybeans

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Loader, Planting equipment, Tillage equipment
Automated systems experience: Bulk grain or feed handling – automated, Storage and silage system

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
The candidates should be willing to for overtime
The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, outdoors, hot area, dusty area, at heights, chicken farming, corn farming, grain farming, poultry farming, soybean farming and in wheat farming

Other Requirements:

The candidate should be organized, flexible, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports
The candidates should be able to clean work area
