Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck, Fruit harvester, Planting equipment, Tractor, Vegetable harvester

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
• The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
• The candidates should be willing to for overtime
• The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination and distinguish between colours
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and sound discrimination
• The candidates should be able to work in wet/damp area, in noisy area, in odours, in outdoors, in hot area, in dusty area, and in cold/refrigerated area
• The candidates should be able to work in dangerous, in vegetables and melon farming (except potato), and in fruit and vegetable combination farming

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be organized, flexible and judgmental
• The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to do brush collecting, budding trees, cleaning crop, clipping, and fruit trees training
• The candidates should be able to do greenhouse cleaning, hand harvesting vegetables, hoeing crops, and plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops and do shoot positioning, stone and/or wood picking, suckering, tying, and vegetable culling
• The candidates should be able to do weeding, and harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and pick row and orchard crops
