Peterson Custom Woodwork Ltd uses a variety of materials, including locally sourced hardwoods, to create its products. We have a team of skilled and experienced woodworkers who are committed to producing high-quality, unique pieces of furniture and cabinetry that meet the needs and specifications of our clients. We also offer a range of other woodworking services, such as furniture repairs, refinishing, and restoration. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Work setting: Rural area, Urban area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Reciprocating saws, Circular saws, Air compressors, Nail guns, Drills
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, dusty, noise and dangerous area
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines and with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be dependable, flexible and reliable
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials
- The candidates should be able to clean and pile salvaged materials
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
- The candidates should be able to perform routine maintenance work, read and interpret blueprints
