Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Construction specialization: Water mains, Pipelines
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to work in confined spaces, and outdoors

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
• International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to load, unload and transport construction materials
• The candidates should be able to assist heavy equipment operators
• The candidates should be able to erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• The candidates should be able to assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• The candidates should be able to assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• The candidates should be able to level earth to fine grade specifications, direct traffic at or near construction sites
• The candidates should be able to pave and rake asphalt, clean and pile salvaged materials, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
