Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset

Candidate Status:

Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, as well as harvest them
The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, including milking cows and cleaning stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry, and examine produce for quality, preparing it for the market
The candidates should be able to write daily basic progress reports and set/monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
