Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Construction specialization: Interlocking brick, Ornamental ponds, fountains and waterfalls and Stone garden walls
Landscaping experience: Residential projects, Commercial and/or industrial construction, Park and recreation sites and Restoration and preservation projects
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to handle repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be physically capable of performing demanding tasks and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong client focus and possess excellent oral communication skills
• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be organized

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products
• The candidates should be able to apply various treatments, such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas, and injecting with treatment solutions
• The candidates should be able to assess the health of lawns and plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
• The candidates should be able to plan and construct landscaped environments, which may include trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures
• The candidates should be able to plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, as well as plant and move trees
