Salary: $22.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Own tools/equipment:Â Own transportation
Credentials:Â Machinist Trade Certification, Machinist Red Seal Endorsment and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables
- The candidates should be able to repair machine tools and parts
- The candidates should be able to set up and adjust production machineries/tools
- The candidates should be able to fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments
- The candidates should be able to document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
- The candidates should be able to maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
- The candidates should be able to compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out workpieces
- The candidates should be able to set up, operate, and maintain a variety of conventional and computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
