Salary: $15.25 to $16.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week

Work setting: Employer’s home and work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: School age (6 – 12 years)

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and be capable of handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication, as well as demonstrate flexibility and exhibit initiative
• The candidates should exercise good judgment, be organized, and demonstrate reliability, while also being a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
