Salary: $33.75 to $34.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Human resource management
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Windows, Electronic mail, Human resources software, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Internet
Security and safety: Basic security clearance

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to identify current and prospective staffing requirements effectively and prepare and post notices and advertisements for job vacancies accurately
  • The candidates should be able to collect and screen applicants efficiently and advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment professionally
  • The candidates should be able to review candidate inventories meticulously and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews promptly
  • The candidates should be able to notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers accurately and advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures appropriately
  • The candidates should be able to organize staff consultation and grievance procedures effectively and negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of the employment process professionally
  • The candidates should be able to determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training thoughtfully and recruit and hire staff according to organizational needs
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic bookkeeping tasks accurately and carry out administrative and clerical activities such as record-keeping and scheduling efficiently
