Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Work Site Environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, Hay farming, Dusty, Hot, Noisy, Odours, Outdoors
Work Setting: Rural area, Staff accommodation available
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as a high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need an experience of 1-2 years
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Feeding and watering system, Harvesters, Tractor
Area of Specialization: Agricultural crop service, Beef cattle
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- The candidate should be able to work with tight deadlines and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing and walking
- The candidate should be able to handle large workloads
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to monitor animal health and provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting
- The candidate should be able to recognize and treat certain livestock health problems
- The candidate should be able to supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
- The candidate should be able to maintain work records and logs
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidate should be able to perform general farm duties
