Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a high school diploma or educational equivalent
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to lift 70 lbs. and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment
Other Requirements:
- The candidate must achieve the minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training and have a mandatory Class AZ (Class 1) driver’s license with a good driving record
- The candidate must be able to operate a manual transmission
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to handle the responsibility for CTV is to transport freight to and from stations and hub facilities and/or pickup and delivery large skidded freight and/or multiple-piece skidded shipments in a safe and responsible manner and with a sense of urgency
- The candidate should be able to perform responsibilities including the regular operation of power material handling equipment for proper loading, weight balancing, and sequencing of unit loading devices.
