Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support the Commissioner’s legal team on legal matters that arise during the exercise of the powers and duties set out in the Human Rights Code while reporting to the General Counsel
- The candidates should be able to conduct legal research and analysis, helping to prepare legal opinions, and supporting the provision of legal advice and services in relation to the Commissioner’s intervenor, test case, and inquiry functions under sections 47.12(1)(j), 47.12(2), and 47.15 of the Code
