The Blackberry Kitchen Restaurant is passionate about and committed to creating delicious menus. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to handle weight up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be organized, reliable, should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to organize and set up the bar, including stocking refrigerators and salad bars
- The candidates should be able to clean the bar area, wash glassware, sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- The candidates should be able to advise on wine selection, inform customers regarding cocktail or drink contents, and prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- The candidates should be able to collect payment for beverages, enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to store beverage and food products, receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, as well as clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
