  • The candidates should be able to organize, set up, and clean the bar, including washing glassware
  • The candidates should be able to clean the draft beer system and maintain inventory control of bar stock
  • The candidates should be able to advise on wine selection and prepare mixed drinks, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
  • The candidates should be able to inform customers about the contents of cocktails and take beverage orders
  • The candidates should be able to collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages and record beverage sales
  • The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
  • The candidates should be able to order bar stock and ensure the cleanliness of the bar area
  • The candidates should be able to balance beverage sales and organize the bar efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
  • The candidates should be able to prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring compliance with regulations
