Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be providedÂ
Credentials:Â Safe Food Handling certificate and ProServe program
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform short order cooking and food preparation, clean the bar area, wash glassware, and serve food or snacks
- The candidates should be able to clean the draft beer system, advise on wine selection, and provide recommendations on drink selections
- The candidates should be able to train staff, collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payments for beverages, and operate the cash register
- The candidates should be able to record and balance beverage sales, store beverage and food products, and order bar stock while maintaining inventory and control
- The candidates should be able to enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations, prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons
